When I signed up, I knew Fun Stampers Journey as a company still has a bit of "growing up" to do, ergo, my not being active on my business the past year. But let me tell you what! Richard Garay and his team really impressed me this year with the release of the new catalog and a whole slew of new products.
BTW, did you see the new catalog? It is LOADED with new stamp sets, tools, paints and mediums, accessories, and embellishments! We have lots of options to color your stamps starting with 6 new ink pads, paints, splashes, color burst color pencils, color splash watercolor pencils, and oh...one I am most excited about...PAN PASTELS!!! YAY! Don't forget to visit my online store, www.funstampersjourney.com/myscrappiness to see all the new products. You also could purchase the full and Holiday mini catalogs at my online store. The full catalog's item number is CL-0013, and the Holiday mini catalog's item number is CL-0015.
Whew! I digressed and got carried away with excitement once again! lol! Ok, going back to the Scrapbook Expo next week. And yes, I'm uber excited about this event, too. :)
So, I signed up to attend 3 classes. One I am most excited about is the Card Swap class. It's not really a class, but a...well...card swap! lol! We are to make 16 cards, swap 15 and the 16th stay with the Expo. We then explain how we made the card. Here's the card I made:
And here's the list of "ingredients":
The base of the card is Recollection's kraft cardstock. Since I had to make several of these cards and I really didn't have enough time to color in the Get Well stamps I used, the Brush Stroke stamp set came to the rescue! I used the two circle Brush Strokes to add color to the Get Well stamps. I used the bigger circle Brush Stroke stamp and Banana Crème ink pad to color in the chicken in cup (I think this stamp is hilarious! lol!). The small circle Brush Stroke and Pool Play ink pad were used to highlight the Get Well Soon sentiment stamp. I loved how this card turned out!
Don't forget to checkout my earlier blog posts below especially the DRAWING post to learn how to win FREE stamps! Thanks for stopping by! Please visit often to see what's new and exciting on my Journey to my Scrappiness! mmmmmmwah!
